
1. Business Environment :
During 2010, there were political issued and increasing price of fuel causing high inflation of Thai economic. Also, the strength of Thai Baht affected the competitiveness of export business. Thai Automotive industries were not impacted and domestic demand was still high which continue to 2011 by up trend.
Unfortunately, in March 2011, there was a big disaster in Japan and affected to production in many industrial especially Automotive Parts supply causing Car Manufacturer in Thailand to slow down their production. However, as of the third quarter of 2011, the production is pick up to normal level.
2. Performances :
In fiscal year 2010 (April 2010-March 2011), our sales amount reached baht 3,422 Million (US$107 Million) which was increased 3.3% form previous year. The main business of our department are exporting automotive materials such as safety products and seating materials to Asia countries, Australia and South Africa.
3. Types of Products & Services :
In 2010, we still have 3 cores business section.
- Safety Production, main products are air bag fabric and seat belt component.
- Automotive Parts & Materials, main products are upholstery fabric, genuine leather, PVC and Accessory Parts such as mirror cover,leg room lamp, carper mat etc.
- Life & Living Materials, main product are seating materials i.e. yarn dying, waste paper
4. Overall Future Trends / Outlook :
As the trend of raw materials and fuel still in high level. Cost control and Quality Improvement will be highlighted in any activities. We have to change and challenge our business function by improving our service to response to customer needs. We plan to extend our scope in both automotive and in non automotive as well. At the same time, we tried to reduce our cost without reducing quality through global sourcing.
5. Special / Future Projects :
We are focusing in investment & development of new product and service such as "Establish value chain for Automotive and Living Material", and other product to response to global trend. New materials sourcing will be trend to develop this year.
6. Competition Situation / Barrier :
Year 2011 will be strong competition among Asean countries, mainly in cost and quality. Strong rivals will come from China. Strength in products knowledge, reliable quality and business experiences can create competitive advantages in our business area.
7. Supporting Factors :
Thai political stabilization and economic environment will created good environment and supported all business. The government policy which support the automobile industry in Thailand and export pro- motion also increase our competitiveness. Also we are targeting to the company global vision 2020"TRY-1"
