1. Business Environment :
Currently, Toyota Tsusho (Thailand) Co, Ltd. and subsidiaries have many kinds of businesses both trading and manufacturing, comply with "Beyond simple trading", especially in automotive field. According to the policy toward Vision 2015, we aim to achieve the business ratio "Automotive: Non-Automotive 50:50" so, in response to the policy, TTTC needs to look for the opportunity to expand non-automotive business.

2. Performances :
Business Development Department was newly established in 2010. The objectives of our department are listed as below:

1. To co-work and support other SBU (Strategic Business Unit) to develop and create new businesses which are beyond the scope of current operations of the company.
2.To co-work with Toyota Tsusho Group in other countries to achieve their goal.
3.To study and create the new business that no one has done before.
4.To start up and enter to new business target like government sector.

Our current business projects consisted of A. Infrastructure/ Expressway
1. Noise Barrier
Being the contractor of the Project to replace the Existing Heavy and Old Concrete Noise Barrier on the Expressway, Bangkok Expressway Public Co., Ltd. (BECL), by introducing Lighter Aluminum Noise Barrier, the sample of 104 units were successfully tested and installed at RAMA 4 ramp down, and the main contract will be completed by December 2011. Besides, we are proposing this Noise Barrier to other organization both Traffic, Public, Education, Community and Resident area

2. Road Safety Equipment
Safety is one of the main policies of Toyota Tsusho Group. The Safety Equipment is the business that we are promoting to Thai Communication.

B. New Business/New Market/Government
3. Official Development Assistance the Bus from Japan to Lao
Being an intermediate between Toyota Tsusho Corporation who granted tender of 42 City Busses from Japanese Government which initiated by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Laos office and Grant Aid for The Improvement of Transportation Capacity of Public Bus in Vientiane Capital Project to Vientiane State Bus Enterprise (VSBE). We received a contract to fabricate Thai Bus Body with Japanese Chassis in Thailand and ship to VSBE, Laos which will start from Feb. 2012. Beside this, still there are plenty assistance project from developing country to this region that we are working on.

4. Overall Future Trends / Outlook :
To follow the objective of the company, Business Development does keep going to survey and study all kind of new businesses opportunityies for Life and Community, Earth and Resource and Mobility. Public Health, Recreation, Agricultural, Renewal Energy, Logistic and Transportation are the trend that we are focusing not only in Thailand but also to neighbor country such as Laos, Cambodia, and Etc.

5. Special / Future Projects :
Logistic is the business that we have good skill in automotive industry, It could be a good to apply to the Agriculture Business in Thailand.
