TTTC AuditThe Annual BCM Operation Training – DIG Exercise in Thailand 2018

On July 16 - 20, 2018 the Annual BCM Operation Training - Disaster Imagination Game (DIG) was held in Thailand conducted by Mr. Kenji Tokuyama, Group Leader of BCM Promotion Group from Toyota Tsusho Corporation-Japan and Mr. Sutin Rujiwanichkul, BCM Project Manager of Toyota Tsusho (Thailand). This time, the training has honored by Mr. Masahiro Yamashita, General Manager of Crisis Management Group from Toyota Tsusho Coporation-Japan, Mr. Sridharan Srinivasan, GM of Risk Management Dept. from Toyota Tsusho India Pvt. Ltd. – Chennai Branch and Mr. Saran Boonyapope, Executive Management Coordinator of Toyota Tsusho (Thailand) joined as observers.
The objective for DIG Exercise: To assess effectiveness of BCP against a disaster and/or an incident, to internalize rules & roles of BCP, to improve resiliency, to find issues and examine countermeasures and to realize timeline.
The exercise was started with BCM Orientation to remind “What is BCM” with case study from Road Collapses in Fukuoka, Japan and implemented DIG Exercise to 12 companies as below;
The BCM Exercise Program has been done at each company successful and the next visiting will be done in October, 2018. Toyota Tsusho (Thailand) will support those our group companies in Thailand to facilitate the BCM Operation Training for their employees continuously.

*BCP = Business Continuity Plan
