This memorable event has been held on 30 August 2019, at TTK Logistics (Thailand) Company Limited, Chonburi province.

This is a great opportunity for Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd. and its partners to launch the first Hybrid Electric Vehicle Battery Life Cycle management project in Thailand, to be reused and maximize benefits in the use of renewable resources, as well as reducing the amount of waste from the industrial sector in an environmentally friendly way. It can be regarded as the foundation for the development of electrified vehicles, while also adhere to the guidelines for sustainable business operations and social responsibility. Especially focus on minimizing negative impact on environment and natural resources.

The success of hybrid electric vehicles in Thailand throughout the past 10 years would not have been possible without the tremendous support from all concerned parties, including the government sector, relevant business partners, and our valued customers who have constantly placed absolute trust on Toyota’s hybrid electric vehicles. Toyota is the first carmaker that initiates the Battery Life Cycle Management system in Thailand. More importantly, our business will be open to all kinds of customers. In other words, we are pleased to take used hybrid batteries from not only automakers but also other industries. We believe that the 3R Scheme will significantly reduce the cost of hybrid batteries, mitigate negative environmental impact, and establish a solid foundation in preparation for the future growth of electrified vehicle market.
