Toyota Tsusho (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (TTTC) has established the Security Trade Control Policy described below to ensure appropriate export controls are implemented, from a perspective of maintaining international peace and security.
Not engage in transactions that involve supplying products or technologies to any party that intends to develop, manufacture, or otherwise contribute to weapons of mass destruction or conventional weapons that could potentially threaten international peace and security, or to parties for whom there is concern they might do so.
Comply with Thailand's Control on Weapons of Mass Destruction related Items (TCWMD) Act, applicable Thailand laws and regulations related to the import and export transactions and Toyota Tsusho Corporation's policy of Security Trade Control.
(2) Export Control Organization
The organization is established to provide a clear definition of responsibilities and a management chain on export controls. The related parties of the organization are;
(3) Product Screening
In order to make reliable judgment of TCWMD Act and its relevant laws and regulations in Thailand, we screen our products and technologies doubly by requesting the products owner to guarantee the properties whether belong to security concerns or not and double check by Administrative for security trade control for assurance.
(4) Transaction Screening
In order to detect the controlled transaction of which the destination country, end-user and end use of product and technologies fall into security concerns, we will conduct transaction screening on all export transactions including transactions of non-controlled products.
In order to measure the effectiveness of the export control, internal and external audit are conducted ordinarily. If non-conforming is observed correction plan must be submitted.
In order to ensure an appropriate implementation of security trade control throughout the company, we will conduct training to all relevant officers and employees to rise their knowledge and ability of security trade control periodically.
(7) Record Keeping
Documents or recording medium concerning export and release of controlled items shall be stored for at least 5 years from the date in which the items have been exported or released.
We promptly report any violations, or suspected violations, of export control-related laws or regulations to the Department of Foreign Trade (DFT), and implement any corrective measures necessary to prevent recurrence.
